Then, I alter the print with pastel pencil and watercolor paint. Next, I scan that work and then create a finished, archival print. I call them \"Photo Paintings\" because they are a combination of photography and hand artwork. It has allowed me at over age 80, with arthritis in my hands, to keep creating art. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYour print will come with a foamcore backing board, a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a clear protective sleeve. Each print is a Limited Edition and is numbered with a maximum of 250 in the edition. When I reach that number no more prints are made. That makes each print more valuable.\u003cbr\u003eI was raised on a dairy farm and have a special connection to barns and rural landscapes. I appreciate all the hand hewn beams and unique architecture and character these old buildings have. Imagine the labor and time it took to raise these large buildings years before we had all the modern machinery we have now. Think of all the life and activity that they housed. We are losing so many of these historical buildings each year to age and weather. I continue to make paintings of as many as I can before they are gone.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Doris Wilbur - Fine Art","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50402902573296,"sku":null,"price":36.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0856\/7691\/6976\/files\/WatchingTrafficforlisting.jpg?v=1788795031","url":"https:\/\/doriswilbur-fineart.com\/products\/old-barn-watching-traffic-route-12-by-doris-wilbur-artist-gift-wall-art-ready-to-frame-country-farmhouse-decor-original-work-prints","provider":"Doris Wilbur - Fine Art","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
