Limited Edition Print of "Sunset Glow Barn," an oil painting by Doris Wilbur-Artist, old barn, rustic, roadside americana, dairy, farmhouse

This old barn is located on Route 26 just before you enter the Town of Willet. It caught my attention one day when I was driving through as the sun was setting. Everything took on a sort of hazy golden glow including the field of dried grasses. Even the pine trees and the house changed color which just highlighted the barn more. Limited Edition prints are available of this country scene.

The size given is the final size it should be framed. You may frame as it is with the white border it has around it or add a mat. Your print will come with a backing board, a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a clear protective sleeve. Each print is a Limited Edition, and is numbered with a maximum of 250 in the edition. When I reach that number no more prints are made. That makes each print more valuable. 

I was raised on a dairy farm and have a special connection to barns and rural landscapes. I appreciate all the hand hewn beams and unique architecture these old buildings have. Imagine the labor and time it took to raise these large buildings years before we had all the modern machinery we have now. Think of all the life and activity that they housed. We are losing so many of these historical buildings each year to age and weather. I continue to make paintings of as many as I can before they are gone.
